ABOUT dr. cox

A graduate of Boston College and Loyola University Maryland’s PsyD program, Dr. Cox has worked extensively with individuals of all ages (from early childhood through late adulthood) to face their fears and improve their quality of life. Dr. Cox also has particular expertise helping college students after working in an on-campus college counseling center, and serving as a Resident Assistant and a Graduate Student Residence Coordinator in dormitories for 7 years.

After completing an APA-accredited internship at the Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, FL, she spent four years as a part of the team at Stress and Anxiety Services of NJ, where she also coordinated social media outreach.

Dr. Cox is passionate about spreading awareness about OCD and provides trainings for students and other professionals. She presented at the International OCD Foundation’s annual conference in Denver, Colorado, and has been a featured guest on NJ 101.5 Radio. She also recently presented at the International OCD Foundation’s Online OCD Camp for teens, focusing on managing OCD amid preparation for and the transition to college.
